Dumortierite Rock Tumbling rough by the pound

Dumortierite is a wonderful stone to tumble as it’s blue coloring is very similar to Sodalite or lapis lazuli. But don’t let it’s blue color fool you this is a very hard material registering in at 7-8 on the moths hardness scale. So don’t throw this in with your sodalite tumble Dumortierite with other hard rocks like jaspers and agates.
