At Fossick by Meeko's Mine, our mission is to inspire and empower you to explore, appreciate, and connect with the natural world through geology, rockhounding, and adventure travel. Whether you are a seasoned rockhound, curious to get started, or somewhere in-between - we are dedicated to fostering a community of like-minded adventurers that celebrate the joys of rockhounding, geology, and exploration. Fossick builds on the success of Meeko’s Mine and is inspired by our involvement in the rockhounding community and experiences sharing this hobby at events, markets, festivals and shows. We're building a curated experience that blends online engagement with real-world activities, fostering a space where enthusiasts of all levels can explore, learn, and share, and providing new and unique opportunities to learn, create, and discover the wonders of the world around us—one (cool) rock at a time.

Our Story
FOSSICK is the brainchild of rockhounders Clay Davis (founder/owner of Meeko's Mine) and Kaili Rose (founder/owner of Kairo Media). Through the course of their travels, the two have been dedicated to sharing their passion for the beauty of nature, the thrill of adventure travel (often to remote places), and the process of discovery. Rockhounding has taken them all over the world; learning, creating, discovering. Finding treasures, fascinating geological locations, flora and fauna, stunning history, amazing people and incredible communities.
They realized they had an opportunity to share those experiences and create a community based around rockhounding and the adventures it takes us on. Let's face it; we've all stopped to pick up that one cool rock. Join a community where we share those adventures, celebrate a hobby and go dig around for lots of cool rocks.
